Ch 2.3 Ecosystems are always changing. Define the following terms while you read: Limiting Factor - a condition that limits the growth of a population in a n ecosystem. Carrying Capacity – when a population reaches a state where it can no longer grow Succession – the gradual change in an ecosystem in which one biological community is replaced by another.
