Group Technology HV Plant By: Sakkie van AardeDate: Slide: 3 of 5 TECHNICAL PAPER EVALUATION 1. Level 1 Gate-Keepers. This is meant for establishing if all the tender returnables are met. 2. Level 2 scoring. If all the tender returnables are met at level 1 the tender submission must score 80% to be considered to participate in the Competitive Enquiry stage. 3. Disqualification : Suppliers, who do not achieve a minimum score of 80%, shall be disqualified on the basis that they have not achieved Eskom’s minimum requirements. 4. Factory evaluation will only be done after the RFQ The factory/engineering evaluation will only be done if the supplier meets the requirements. If a factory evaluation was done with the last contract, it will not be done with this new evaluation.

[1 x electronic copy (MS Word)] 5.1 Technical information. Separate folders shall be created per item offered with descriptive folder names, e.g.: “Item 1:- FPI– Outdoor, conductor mounted” The A&B and deviation schedules must be complete with the submission. The folder shall contain files, with descriptive files names, for at least the following documents: 5.1.1Drawings as specified, [1 x electronic copy (pdf format)] 5.1.2Completed test report summary sheet, [1 x electronic copy] 5.1.3Test reports as specified in Rev 2 & Rev 0, clearly marked and arranged in the same order as the type test report summary sheet, [1 x electronic copy].
