Cole Canoe Base Bikes will be allowed. Lake and River aquatics including – Boating, mile swim, tubing. Many non-merit badge opportunities including Climbing, Rifle, Shotgun, hiking, biking, zip line scuba, ATV, and more. Even some activities and training just for adults. Special First Year Camper program for new Scouts that will give them a sample of most of the activities that Cole has to offer and a big boost on first class requirements. Page 3

Registration For Camp You must use the T110 web calendar to register for Summer Camp. (Calendar Link)Calendar Link To participate a deposit of $150 is required before April 1 st. The remaining balance $165 is due May 2 nd. Checks should be made out to Troop 110 and given to Carlo de Wit or Jonathan Schroeder at a troop event or mailed to address shown below. Merit Badge Sign Up Process You must be registered for Summer Camp before you can register for Merit Badges. Please don’t wait till the last minute as classes will fill up quickly. 1 st year Scouts should sign up for no more than 2 merit badges, and returning scouts at most 5. Main objective of summer camp is having fun!!

Merit Badge Blue Cards For each Merit Badge scouts must fill out a blue card. Blue cards will be available at meetings. The blue cards have to be filled out and signed by the Scoutmaster or an assistant Scoutmaster and turned in before camp. Page 9

For Parents and Adults Except for Friday Night Campfire - ALL ADULTS over 21 coming into camp must have State of Michigan Dept. of Human Services Central Registry Clearance Letter. This is a one-time clearance at no cost to the person asking for the clearance. Go to link below, follow the instructions to fill in form, return to state, they will mail back the clearance that you need in 2 weeks. More Required Forms – You gotta love forms! Page 11 Annual Health and Medical Record - Required for all Adults and scouts Part a, b, c. Part d only needs to be complete for High adventure. Release of Campers Authorization - This is part of the Annual Health and Medical Record part A. Anybody who will be picking a Scout up from CCB must be listed. Yes - parents must be listed too. 2 Paper copies of this form must be turned in prior to camp (See below). Keep original for yourself as one of the copies you give us will be given to camp and not returned (State law), the other will go to the troop. Camper Medication Form. Turning In Medical Forms Lydia Latocki will be coordinating the Medical forms collection process. The prior described forms below must be turned in by May 31 st. No electronic versions will be – (2) Copies of Annual Health and Medical Record parts A+B+C and camper release. Keep the original. – Camper medication form – T110 Annual Consent Form – Any special food needs can be turned in to Lydia as well. Visiting Cole Canoe Base Family can visit your Scouts at Cole Canoe Base. Family can camp with the troop–bring own tent. You must have necessary forms (See Required Forms) You can eat a CCB meal with your Scout for $7 breakfast/$9 lunch/$11 dinner/$12 Friday Dinner. Best day to visit is Friday Night Bonfire, Beast Feast Monday night is runner up. 2 day advance notice required to allow time for these arrangements. Page 13

First Year Camper Program This program provides an excellent opportunity to give your new Scouts a giant step towards the First Class rank. Cole Canoe Base has planned many activities to expose new scouts to what Cole Canoe Base has to offer. Among these are of course the totin’ Chip and firem’s Chip, but also an afternoon on the beautiful Rifle River. First year campers will be allowed to sign up for 2 merit badges when participating in this program. Page 17
