A Parent’s Responsibility “O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is men and stones, over which are appointed angels, stern and severe, who disobey not Allah in what He commands them and do as they are commanded.” The Holy Quran [66:7] [66:7] اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو ! اپنے آپ کو اور اپنے اہل و عیال کو آگ سے بچاؤ جس کا ایندھن انسان اور پتھر ہیں۔ اُس پر بہت سخت گیر قوی فرشتے ( مسلط ) ہیں۔ وہ اللہ کی، اُس بارہ میں جو وہ انہیں حکم دے، نافرمانی نہیں کرتے اور وہی کرتے ہیں جو وہ حکم دیئے جاتے ہیں۔

A Parent’s Responsibility  At the end of the day, Almighty Allah has put the responsibility of raising the children in the hands of parents – Not Nazim Atfal, Qaid or a Murabi Atfal.  Just like you (parents) know about the child’s school schedule, meal plans, PT meetings, field trips etc… and have to partake an active role in their academic life, you must remember that the same is required of you if you want your children to reach the highest level of Taqwa (righteousness)  2 – 4 hours Atfal classes every other weekend are NOT enough to reach the standards set by Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) for a Muslim child.  At the end of the day, Almighty Allah has put the responsibility of raising the children in the hands of parents – Not Nazim Atfal, Qaid or a Murabi Atfal.  Just like you (parents) know about the child’s school schedule, meal plans, PT meetings, field trips etc… and have to partake an active role in their academic life, you must remember that the same is required of you if you want your children to reach the highest level of Taqwa (righteousness)  2 – 4 hours Atfal classes every other weekend are NOT enough to reach the standards set by Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) for a Muslim child.
