Our school Our school is called Alexandre Herculano, is located in Porto, and is the headquarters of the grouping of schools. The school cluster includes eight schools besides the headquaters. Our school can be considered the " Mother school”.“ Let’s have a look at them!

Subjects in our curriculum In the first year they are: Portuguese, Mathematics, English, Communicating in French, ICT, 3 technical subjects (Tiat, Tcat, Otet), Physical Education, Integration A rea, History of Arts and Culture and Geography. In the second year the subjects are: Portuguese, English, Communicating in French, Tiat, Tcat, Otet, Physical Education, Integration Area, History and Culture of Arts and Geography. In the third year we study: Portuguese, English, Communicating in French, Tiat, Tcat, Otet, Physical Education, Integration Area, History of Arts and Culture and Geography. Some boys in our class take Spanish instead of English. We also have integrated training periods at the end of the second and third school year, during which we do our training in hotels, hostels, bars,, restaurants, This training is also evaluated and graded.

Our Course The Vocational and Technical Course of Tourism Technician aims to prepare us to work for touristic developments, such as hotels, hostels, museums, restaurants, etc. The course blends theoretical and practical matters, with a generalist background, so we can work in all fields of Hospitality and Tourism.
