Women’s Suffrage Women used WWI to campaign their right to vote Their cause was supported by President Wilson who saw their contribution to the war time and helped passed the 19 th Amendment which allowed women the right to vote SC did not ratify the 19 th Amendment. Luckily, other states did and women did receive the right to vote.
