What they found  The people worked hard all week trying to find things. They found a kiln. A kiln is like a big oven that they heat stones over to get metal out of. They also found a bone. They aren’t that sure whose it is.

A fab day  We all had a fab day out even though it was a bit cold and wet. We all thought that it was very interesting we learnt a lot about archaeological things thank you.

Archaeological dig  An archaeological dig is where you dig up a certain part of the ground and you find things from the past. Where we went we saw 4 trenches they were fascinating, we saw people digging.
