Investigation of cross border movement of people, food, goods etc. SOP’s on cross border issues is being investigated. NDoH looking into a Port Health Plan and Regulations. Yellow fever certificates will be inspection on entry. Border Control Operations Co-ordinating Committee (BCOCC), DoH is a member.

6/18/2016FREE STATE EMS 2010 PLAN Helicopter Landing Zone Aero-medical services on alert with capability of an advanced life support.. In the event of an emergency the helicopter would land anywhere.

Equipment Re-Supply Fully stocked trailers will be available during a disaster at the Central Holding Area Extra equipment will be necessary to deal with major incidents. This equipment is required for triage, first aid, advanced life support and packaging for transport. An equipment officer will coordinate the distribution of re-supply. 6/18/2016FREE STATE EMS 2010 PLAN

SANDF to be informed. Private EMS services to be on standby. District Disaster Management standby Dispatch of ambulances from the neighboring Districts immediately.

Emergency Information Management It defined as the collection, consolidation, analysis and dissemination of the information Real-time data management: Regarding incidents, severity of patients and workload for hospitals and emergency medical services. Live footage will also be broadcasted to the Provincial JOC via a webcam. Media officer’s of SAPS, Military and Health will coordinate the debriefings. 6/18/2016FREE STATE EMS 2010 PLAN
