Why Change? Yes, change is hard! It’s time for a new Redeemer. That means new programming!! Things that worked 10 years ago no longer meet the needs of current families. Started with a lack of Sunday School teachers. Brick by brick, a new idea was formed.

Sunday School
Nursery: Ages 3-5 Meet each week (High School-age Teacher) Have Lesson –Bible story (Sparks picture-Bible) –Coloring sheet –Snack –Play time in nursery/ Movement Games
Redeemer Rocks: Grades 1-4 Part 1 3-Week Lesson Rotation using the current curriculum as the base 9:15am - Opening: Lesson about current story 9:30am - Stations Time: Intentional play might include blocks, prayer/journaling, costumes, technology station {10 min rule} 9:50am - Snack 10:05am - Closing: Review of the lesson; Show and Tell
Redeemer Rocks: Grades 1-4 Part 2 Fourth Sunday of each month = Intentional Family Week: Designed to equip families for how to talk about church at home. 9:15am - Opening: Review of the monthly Bible Lesson 9:30am - Family Activity: Might include craft, communion bread making, how to usher/greet, Redeemer garden, quilting, many more options!! 10:00am - Closing and Family Prayer Time

Confirmation: Grades 5-6 Part 1 Pre- Confirmation Sunday School group meet Sunday mornings Designed as a prep class: Year 1- Bible Basics; Year 2- History of the Church
Confirmation: Grades 7-8 Part 2 Sunday Mornings w/ Kate Wednesday Nights: Year 1- Deeper Bible Basics Year 2- Catechism Would keep the rotation idea: Time with Kelsey, Time with Pastor, Small group Confirmation would be early June/Pentecost Sunday
