Side events Sponsors’ Race, with a 25 km track for women and a 38 km track for men. Last year, 35 teams and 312 participants attended – Green Day, with contests for children in the central Victoriei boulevard in Sibiu, which closes for the day. Estimated number of participants: 1, – King of the Mountain, a climb up Paltinis with two track choices, each with their respective titles to be won: King/Queen of the Road, and King/Queen of the Offroad. In addition to the main event, in which professionals cyclists will compete over a period of 5 consecutive days, prior to and during Sibiu Cycling Tour, 5 side events will be held, open to the general public.

Side events – The Cartisoara annual gathering, followed by the Balea Lac climb on stage ITT. Estimated number of participants: 2, – Chic Bikes, a bike track for ladies, ending with their arrival in the Big Square in Sibiu, right before the arrival of the main plutoon of professional cyclists. Media coverage For the 5th year in a row, the 6th edition of Sibiu Cycling Tour is broadcasted live by Digisport. Three stages will be covered live, while the highlights from the other two will be shown in prime time, from a studio in Piata Mare in Sibiu.
