Who is Father Christmas and where does he come from? Father Christmas is said to have been Saint Nicholas. One day Saint Nicholas saw some sad orphans outside the buildings hanging their socks up to dry. He decided to put some nuts and clementines in them. In the morning the orphans woke up and found the goodies inside.

Not everybody celebrates Christmas in the same way as each other. Some people celebrate Christmas by: Lighting 8 small candles and the one big candle on Christmas Day candles to run up to Christmas, this is called Hanukah and the Jewish believe in this.

We celebrate Christmas We celebrate Christmas by: Getting a turkey Putting decorations up Getting and decorating Christmas trees Receiving and giving presents Eating a Christmas Dinner Leaving Cookies/Cakes for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Singing Christmas carols.

My Typical Christmas ( Charlotte Cable and Georgia Euripidou) We celebrate Christmas by getting up at around 7 am and attack our stockings for presents. Then our mum’s get the camera recorder and records us opening our Christmas presents, that are under the Christmas Tree. Then we play with our presents and watch Christmas movies until Christmas dinner is ready.

Every year their must be a pantomime to make someone laugh. To give out the Christmas spirit schools also put on nativities all around the country to send a message on what happened back then. This year it’s Peter Pan and Dick Wittington.

Christmas Dinner Christmas dinner is simply a joint of meat, traditionally Turkey, including vegetables, like Brussels sprouts and broccoli, with Piggy in Blankets, which are simply Sausages wrapped in Bacon.
