One Sunday afternoon… Sarah’s mother was preparing lunch for them.

Sarah & her family were having lunch & Sarah filled her plate with lots of food, (since it was her favorite food).

It was more food than Sarah could eat & she realized this soon after she sat down to eat.

Having realized that she would be wasting food, she started asking her siblings if they could take some of her food. She didn’t want her mom & dad to see her.

But Sarah, father, Shuaib saw her. However he was happy that at least she had realized it & didn’t really throw away her food. So he told Sarah, to leave the left over in her plate and she can eat it in the evening. But Sarah had to make one promise in Exchange, which was she would never Repeat such an act and that she would Never waste food.

Sarah hugged her dad & promised him that she would never waste food & thank Allah always for giving her food and so many other blessings.

Food for thought

We don’t just eat, we over eat, harm ourselves, and waste food.

Allah had blessed us With abundant blessings in the form of food, family, money,health etc. We should be thanking Allah for his favors.

Now, the other side of the story …

Children die due to hunger. They’re malnutritioned as long as they live. They live in very harsh conditions: without proper shelter, clothes, education etc 

Time to wake up!! Children begging for food!!
