NASA MSFC Mission Operations Laboratory MSFC Page 2 SpaceX/Orbital Info  In addition to ATV and HTV, payloads will be transported to/from ISS via Commerical Orbital Transportation Services, Space-X and Orbital. These are generically called Visiting Vehicles.  SpaceX (Dragon) provides pressurized up-mass, unpressurized up-mass, pressurized return and unpressurized disposal services.  1 powered double mid deck locker or 2 singles  Orbital (Cygnus) provides pressurized up-mass and pressurized disposal.  1 powered double mid deck locker or 2 singles  Additional space for 2 single lockers unpowered.  SpaceX (Dragon) has external cargo capabilities.  Can launch 4 items up to 1600kg  2 powered unpressurized payload units (100W continous & 500W peak) with 2 data connections  No telemetry available to payloads during free flight.  Vehicles are managed from a control center operated by the company that owns the vehicle. MCC-H will have direct interface with these control centers. We will work any issues with the vehicle interface through the ISE position.

NASA MSFC Mission Operations Laboratory MSFC Page 3 SpaceX/Orbital Payload Operations  ULF-7 was the last flight for the SOC position. Visiting Vehicles will follow ISS processes.  Transfer Procedures will be in IPV. PD will work with the Ops Lead to develop any procedures required for transfer.  There will not be a separate flight plan, EPAS no longer required. PDs will work their requirements with their PARC. Any transfer activity or docked ops activity requiring resources will show up on OSTPV.  No Transfer Lists are used for Visiting Vehicles, only a Pre-pack and Unpack List. Stowage will manage these for POIF.  ACO position at JSC will now be called ISE for Visiting Vehicles. ISE will act as a liaison between POIF and the commercial vehicle team. Still working on a MOA between POIF & the ISE team to define roles and responsibilities.  Processes should be better defined in the next couple of months. We will provide an update at the next POIWG.
