The Aim The aim is to talk to you about how Novas provides learning and employment opportunities for service users

What we will be covering today What is Novas Employment Works? What is a Traineeship? What are Learning Programmes? What are Employment Tasters? What are the benefits of getting involved?

Novas Employment Works A training programme for Novas current and ex- service users. Consists of; Traineeships, Learning Programmes and Employment Tasters. A register to receive information of employment and learning opportunities.

Traineeships It’s an existing job – in a learning role. It last for 6 months. Working in a team with a line manager. Individual training plan. Undertake an NVQ and gain a nationally recognised qualification. It can also potentially lead to permanent work.
