Novas Employment Works A training programme for Novas current and ex- service users. Consists of; Traineeships, Learning Programmes and Employment Tasters. A register to receive information of employment and learning opportunities.
Traineeships It’s an existing job – in a learning role. It last for 6 months. Working in a team with a line manager. Individual training plan. Undertake an NVQ and gain a nationally recognised qualification. It can also potentially lead to permanent work.
Learning Programmes What Novas can provide In House training that covers; Assertiveness Benefits overview Health and Safety Equality and Diversity Recruitment and Selection Directions Novas we can sign post service users too BITC (Business in the community) City Lit Thames Reach GROW
Employment Tasters Work Experience In a hostel or scheme In the offices 2 weeks Volunteering In a hostel or scheme In the offices Longer term placement CRB
