Actions to date Site visits to both reservoirs Roundtable discussion Survey data collected by BOR staff Preparation of a technical memorandum, summarizing survey data Beginnings of an implementation/financial plan Colusa County exploring options to prepare site development plans, cost estimates and financial plan.
Results of Survey Data Users are willing to pay for reservoir use Includes both local (i.e. northern central valley users) as well as Bay area and Sacramento area users. Fees range from $5 to as high as $50 per visit The exact amount of fees to be charged will require additional analysis and identification of capitol and operating costs. Benefits of charging a fee: Provide a revenue stream to help recover capitol costs and contribute to maintenance costs Create a more “secure” type environment by eliminating those visitors that do not wish to pay for day/overnight use
