Subscriptions bought by PTA for all Year 1 and Year 2 children. All children have a unique user name and login Mathletics integrates home and school learning via the internet and is an excellent online learning resource.

Mathletics Children are able to access a range of activities aimed at children of their age. In Year 2 teachers will assign tasks based on what they have taught that week. They are encouraged to go on either mathletics or spellodrome for 20 minutes a week. In Year 1 children will have access to all the activities. Live Mathletics

Spellodrome Spellodrome is a site that allows children to practice spellings and learn spelling patterns – especially important due to changes in curriculum and end of Key Stage expectations. Spellodrome works in a similar way where word lists can be assigned to children based on their ability. They can then play games using these spelling lists. Spellodrome and Mathletics can be accessed through a tablet or PC/laptop, and Mathletics has an android and apple app.

Phonics Play The school have invested in a subscription for all teachers to use in the classroom. Although some resources are pay for, there are some excellent resources that can be accessed for free. Year One phonics test

Oxford Owls The school has subscribed to Oxford Owl. This is a website where children can access the Oxford Reading Tree books. There is the option for the book to be read to the child, as well as activities for them to do at the end of the book.

Ipad apps There are lots of useful apps that can be used to help support your child at home. Most frequently used ones at school… Hairy Letters Book Creator Puppet Pals Bee Bot Kodable Explain Everything
