5 EASY STEPS TO PRELIMINARY CERTIFICATION _______ 1. CREATE Create a user profile in EDGE and self assess your resource efficient design. 2. REGISTER Register your project for certification and pay the relevant fees. 3. SELECT Contract with an EDGE auditor for compliance with EDGE requirements. 4. APPLY Rely on your auditor to submit your application to the certification provider. 5. CERTIFY Receive an EDGE certificate from the certifier.

Certification provides an initial Preliminary Certificate and a final EDGE Certificate after completion. There is no EDGE certificate for building operation.
