The Agony of Defeat? – John 19

John 19:1-3 Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. 2 The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe 3 and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.

It is finished! Was this the agony of defeat, or is it something else?

It is finished! What was finished? What was finished? What did the cross accomplish? What did the cross accomplish?

When Jesus said “it is finished”… We were reconciled to God We were reconciled to God He makes us Holy in His sight He makes us Holy in His sight

Are we living in victory or the agony of defeat? Are you living with Him, or far from Him? Are you living with Him, or far from Him? God loves you with a love we can not fathom!
