eAuthentication  An eAuthentication (eAuth.) account is a way for you to interact with USDA websites online.  Your eAuth. Account consists of a User ID, a password and your customer profile which contains information about you. 2

Level 1 and Level 2 Access 4  Level 1 – provides access to users to enter USDA Web site portals and applications that have been determined to have minimum security requirements or restrictions.  Level 2 – provides access to users to enter USDA Web site portals and applications that have been determined to have the need for higher security requirements or restrictions and the need of a verified identify for each User ID and profile.

Local Registration Authority 5  Local Registration Authorities (LRAs) are USDA employees who are trained to act as the trusted entity to validate the identity of a customer seeking a Level 2 eAuthentication account. The role of the LRA can be compared to a Notary Public who ensures the identity of an individual conducting official business transactions.

FOOD PROGRAMS REPORTING SYSTEM (FPRS) 7  Register for FPRS  Complete FNS-674 and 674A Forms  Sign and submit completed form(s) to the designated Authorizing Official at your FNS Regional Office  FPRS Access will process within 3 business days after receiving it.  You will receive an from FPRS Access when you account has been added or modified.
