Hubble Science Briefing: Twenty-Five Years of Seeing Stars with the Hubble Space Telescope On March 18, a special, Hubble 25 th anniversary Science Briefing was held with STScI astronomers Dr. Rachel Osten, Dr. Alex Fullerton, and Dr. Jay Anderson. The three astronomers partnered to present a “Twenty-Five Years of Seeing Stars with the Hubble Space Telescope” talk that allowed listeners to learn how Hubble is helping astronomers understand the nature of stars. The talk finished with a description of how the extraordinary precision of Hubble measurements has changed the way we look at dense clusters of stars. Coloring (& Coding) the Universe K.Arcand/Chandra presented a talk & workshop using NASA data for a local Girls Who Code program hosted with Brown Univ. on Apr , for nasa4girls & #womenshistorymonth. Attended by 10 middle school girls (beginner coders), participants discussed career options in science & tech, and learned about EMS and data visualization. They completed the astronomy imaging hands-on activity “Recoloring the Universe” using data on SNRs and galaxies as developed by Pencil Code, Google, AAS & Chandra.
