IN THE DIGITAL CITY Click on the pictures to find out about their daily habits. Part 2

The secretary works all day from 9.00 in the morning to 5.00 in the afternoon. She uses her computer to type all her letters. She doesn’t sit all day, but takes a break for lunch and tea. On Fridays and Saturdays she stays at home with her family. Back

The baker uses his computerized oven to bake the best bread. He gets up very early in the morning. The baker and his workers make the best bread in town. By 7 o’clock in the morning the people buy fresh bread for breakfast. Back

Bob builds many new buildings. He plans his work schedule on his computer. Bob doesn’t forget to put on his helmet, work clothes and to bring his tools. Back

Dr. White the family doctor works at the clinic. She gets information about all of her patients from the clinic computer. Patients come to her when they feel sick or need some medicine. Back

Mailman Rob has a big brown bag. His bag holds many letters and small packages. At the post office, a computer sorts all the letters. The computer reads all the zip codes. If you don’t know the zip code your letter may not arrive. Back

Sam teaches at the city school. Most teachers teach only in the classroom. Sam sometimes takes his students into the computer room. These days students don’t only use a notebook to write their tasks. They use a computer. They open their school site and complete their tasks there. Back
