Egyptian-Style Art By: Sebastien Castonguay

The different kinds of art in Egypt. Egyptians make many different kinds of art projects. They make, pottery (vases, glasses, bowls, etc.), paintings (Sometimes resemble pharaohs), and Egyptians also built buildings for art! Egyptians use all sorts of Hieroglyphics with their art projects!

Hieroglyphics Hieroglyphics are a type of Egyptian writing. Like us, they have an alphabet of 26 characters. Egyptians, use Hieroglyphics for Art today. It is still used by Egyptians today!

The Great Sphinx The Sphinx is a statue that resembles a creature that is half human, and half animal. It is sort-of weird looking because when a gigantic sand storm passed through Egypt, it blew the nose of the Sphinx right off of its’ face! The Sphinx is one of the greatest works of art in all of Egypt!

In conclusion… I personally think that, learning about all of the Egyptian Arts was quite interesting! My favorite thing I learned about that involves Egyptian Art would have to be The Sphinx. This is because it has been in Egypt for years, and years to come. Also, everyone I know, knows about The Sphinx real well!
