Copyright 2014 © W. Seth Hunter ConsumerMath.org L1.1 Introduction to Course In one company he noticed that, of the 350 hourly employees he was in charge of, most of the new hires were only 2-4 years out of high school and each year he would hire and fire about 150 of them because they were not prepared to work in the real world. In High School, they had learned how to graduate, but no one had taught them how to live and manage their lives. Mr. Hunter designed this class to help students like them learn the skills necessary to be successful in their jobs, and how to apply what is taught in this class. The Origin of this Program: The Origin of this Program: A little about the man who designed it…

Seth Hunter ConsumerMath.org L1.1 Introduction to Course “It is my goal that everyone who takes this class will know how to manage their life, and they will not be the one that gets fired.” Mr. Hunter ConsumerMath.org That is why this class was designed. This is our focus! This presentation will show you how we do it. The Origin of this Program: The Origin of this Program: A little about the man who designed it…

Copyright 2014 © W. Seth Hunter ConsumerMath.org L1.1 Introduction to Course What is our goal as Teachers? “We never require our students to do anything in our class for which we cannot show an immediate and direct application to real life.” We make this promise to our students. “If as a teacher, I cannot show you the application of what I am teaching, then I will stop teaching it. If I cannot prove that my assignment has real life application, I will not assign it.”
