Grabber Even with tough competition, Persian rugs are still the best rugs in the world.

Thesis The decline of the Safavid Empire caused Iran to lose control and other countries colonized most of the region. In the early 20 th century, the formation of a constitutional monarchy and the modernization of the oil industry caused Iran to grow stronger. Iranian nationalism grew with the embodiment of a stronger and more centralized government.

Conclusion With the introduction of a more incorporated and modernized Iran, they experienced both positive and negative effects. They became a more powerful and influential nation within the Middle-Eastern region. Although, the governing body of Iran caused their country to be overly independent due to their limits on international affairs.
