Tai O-Visit the Hong Kong SUSANNA 5C ( 3 )

Tai O is a small fishing village on Lantau Island. It takes 45 minutes to get there from Tung Chung.

In Tai O, there are a lot of old stilt houses. They stand on wooden stilts above the water.

In the old days, people crossed the water by a hand-drawn sampan. A boatman pulled a rope to move the boat across the water. Now, there is a bridge for commuters instead.

The sea near Tai O is also home to Chinese White Dolphins. We can saw several dolphins swimming and jumping. Dolphins is very Interesting.

Tai O is famous for its dried seafood, shrimp paste, salted fish and a traditional snack called ‘tea dumplings’. They were delicious Very large Austrian flavor.

Tai O is certainly a great place to spend a relaxing day when you visit Hong Kong.
