Read and draw Task : read the sentence and draw what you have read. Sample : 1.This is a tall green tree. 2.No smoking! 3.The dog can bark.

Follow the instructions and find the right place/thing You need a map (town/village) or a picture (room/house). Task : teacher thinks of a place/thing, gives the pupils instructions written on a sheet of paper, pupils read them and find that very place/thing.

Sample : You are in the living room. Look around. You need to find a thing. It is very nice. It is not small. You can hang it on the wall. In this room it is to the right above the fire-place.

Fulfill the orders Task : read the order and fulfill it. Sample: 1.Touch your nose. 2.Say „Hello!”to your teacher. 3.Hug your neighbour to the right. 4.Smile. 5.Say what day it is today.

Read and perform Task : read and perform what you have read. Sample : 1.I’m very tired. 2.I’m so scared. 3.Come on! You can do it! 4.Can you speak English? 5.What time is it now?

„Treasure Island” Task : You have a map and your task is to find the treasure. Read the riddle at each stop and guess it yourself or together with others.

Odd word text Task : find the odd word in each sentence and read the last one. Sample : Ihor is a his small boy. He is favourite four. He has got many toy toys. He is has got three cars—red,green and blue.His toy puppy is a black and white.His toy kitten brown is grey.He likes teddy-bear to play with them very much. Key : His favourite toy is a brown teddy-bear.

Crosswords Samples : 1.Guess the words (down and across). 2.Find 6 words on the topic (Fruit, City, Sport etc.). 3.Do the crossword and find out the name of the topic of our lesson.

Read and match Types : 1.The description with its meaning. 2.The parts of a proverb. 3.The question with the answer. 4.The words / the number with the word.

Sample : read and match the parts of the proverbs on the topic „Health”: Many doctors Good health is An apple a day Laughter is After dinner sit a while, keeps the doctor away. the best medicine. have killed the king. after supper walk a mile. above wealth.

Read and circle the correct variant (Most suitable while learning numbers) Task : you can see different things in the pictures. Read what there is under each one and circle the correct number of items.

Reading Rhymes Task : the rows in the rhyme are mixed, put them in correct order. Sample : „Betty’s Family” Betty has got a sister They all live together With father and mother. And she has got a brother.

Mixed sentences Task : divide the given words into groups (2 or more) and make up sentences. Sample : shines/ merrily/ the sky/ girls/ in/ sing/ on/ the sun/ the stage/ brightly/ Key : The sun shines brightly in the sky./ Girls sing merrily on the stage.

Guess the word Task : read the description and guess the word. Sample : This is a kind of sport. It is a summer sport. It is played between two teams of eleven players. You need a ball, two goals and a big field. The game consists of two periods forty-five minutes each. Key : Football

Tongue-twisters Task : read correctly and as quickly as you can. Sample : Can you can a can as a canner can can a can? I wish you were a fish in my dish. If practice makes perfect and perfect needs practice, I’m perfectly practiced and practically perfect.
