Aim & Learning Outcomes Aim of the course To provide an overview of articles and books within the field of business administration that have come to be considered classics due to their significant impact on the literature in the field Knowledge and understanding Demonstrate broad knowledge and systematic understanding of the research field as well as advanced and up-to-date specialised knowledge in a limited area of this field Skills and abilities Demonstrate the capacity for scholarly analysis and synthesis as well as to review and assess new and complex phenomena, issues and situations autonomously and critically

Forms of Instructions Presentations: Senior researchers present and discuss classics  The presenters’ choice of articles/books  Course participants must read the classics in advance  Hand in written reflections (around two pages per presentation) reflecting upon major issues in the classics or according to instructions from presenters  Reflections should be ed to the presenters not later than two days before each presentation Seminars: Course participants present and discuss articles/books  Seminars are organised by course participants  Each course participant should present and discuss two articles/books from the ”List of Classics in…” of their own choice  Send me a list no later than September 9 of classics to be presented at each of the 7 seminars. There should be 3 or 4 presentations at each seminar.
