The Stars And Stripes – Pride Of The United States! The flag of any country is really special. It is not just a piece of fabric. It symbolizes a nation. In fact, the flags hold a lot more meaning than that. Also, the colors in a flag represent something that is really important to the country. The American flag consists of thirteen horizontal stripes in red and white, with a blue rectangle bearing fifty small, white stars. These five-pointed stars represent the 50 states of the United States of America. And the thirteen stripes represent the thirteen British Colonies that declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. The colors are white, old glory red and old glory blue. It is one of the most widely recognized symbols of the nation. The red color symbolizes valor, white represents purity and innocence, and blue symbolizes vigilance, justice and perseverance. This flag is a powerful symbol of America. The flags are on regular display throughout the country. They are frequently displayed on public buildings as well as private residences. The American flag is widely recognized throughout the world. The people of the United States are proud of their flag. It is proudly flown on many occasions such as Independence Day, Flag Day, Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, and Veteran’s Day. This is the reason why the flags are available for sale. One can buy American flag products and display them outside your home or anywhere you like. As it is always displayed throughout the year at the White House in Washington, it brings a strong sense of pride and joy to the people of the country.

For some people it holds a great importance because it signifies the efforts, sweat, tears, and blood contributed for the success of the United States of America. Whenever the flag is raised, it symbolizes the perseverance of the U.S. The flags for sale are available at many retail outlets. You can buy the flag and proudly display it. But one should keep in mind the proper way of displaying the flag. There are proper customs and laws available for the display of the flag. The laws are outlined by U.S. Code. The custom is that the flag can only be displayed from sunrise to sunset on flagstaffs in the open. It can only be displayed at night on special occasions if properly illuminated during the time of darkness. Also the flag should not be displayed in bad weather. According to the code, special emphasis is given to some days on which the flag should especially be displayed. These important days are Independence Day, Inauguration Day, Armed Forces Day, Flag Day, Memorial Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington’s Birthday, Lincoln’s birthday, Constitution day, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Navy Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas, New Year’s Day, state holidays, and other such days that may be proclaimed by the President of the United States. All the proper flag etiquettes should be followed. The flag should be given all the respect it deserves. Visit to learn more.
