Quadrilaterals By Austin Reichert

Two Diagonals!!! First comes the Trapezium!!! ◦No sides are parallel!

Next comes… The Kite!!! ◦A Kite has 2 pairs of consecutive congruent sides! ◦Only 1 diagonal is bisected! ◦Diagonals are perpendicular! ◦And it’s opposite sides aren’t congruent!

Four Angles & Four Sides Then comes the Parallelogram!!! ◦It’s opposite sides are parallel! ◦It’s consecutive angles are supplementary! ◦It’s opposite sides are congruent! ◦It’s diagonals bisect each other! ◦Opposite angles are congruent!

And then there's… The Rectangle!!! ◦Diagonals are congruent! ◦Has 4 right angles! & The Rhombus!!! ◦Diagonals bisect opposite angles! ◦Has 4 congruent sides! ◦Diagonals are perpendicular!

And the Rectangle and Rhombus had a baby and created…. The Square!!! ◦Which has properties of both the Rectangle and the Rhombus, it’s Mom and Dad!!!

360° The Trapezoid!!! ◦Which has 1 pair of parallel sides!

And then comes the… Right Trapezoid!!! ◦Which has 2 right angles! & the Isosceles Trapezoid!!! ◦Which has 1 pair of congruent sides!

THE END!!!! Thanks for watching!!!
