Introduction Department of computer web information engineering has a goal to train competitive software engineers who meet industrial expectation of the 21st century. In order to achieve the goal, we cultivate the following main contents: Computer programming ability necessary for software development, which is obtained by learning basic engineering design, programming languages(C, C#, Java), and development tools Basic theory lectures like computer networks, software engineering, computer architecture, operating systems, and database. Furthermore, mobile application development, web programming, practical network exercise Our education course fosters essential members in information-orientation society especially for mobile contents/application development, internet program development, electronic commerce (EC), embedded system, information security and network management. Features and Pride Winning of an Excellence Award in 2009 Korea Data Architecture Design Competition A team of capstone design won a student part excellence award with an outstanding database design product in 2009 Korea Data Architecture Design Competition hosted by Korea Database Agency. Developed and launched six mobile applications through interdisciplinary classes in 2012 Contemporary social needs for convergence talent is increasing as the topic of convergence and consilience spread into the social realm.
