White Coat Ceremony and Convocation With the presentation of the white coat, students become colleagues in training and take on professional responsibilities. “Now Everybody is Watching”

Professionalism You were selected in the admissions process based on your resilience and professional experience in order to best represent the osteopathic profession. This gives you the empowerment to prove yourselves in this area!

Professionalism You are now embarking on a professional career and entering a professional school. With this comes professional responsibilities. Familiarize yourself with the College “Statement on Professionalism,” “Code of Professional Ethics,” and “Social Networking Guidelines.”

First Semester It is important that new students get off to a good start both academically, professionally and personally during the first semester. The first semester is a time of acclimation and adjustment to the demands of medical school Get to know your peers, faculty and support staff! Success requires working as a “team” – You cannot do this alone! You will be working as a team the rest of your professional life!
