Introduction  iPad is a tablet computer.  It has a larger 9.7-inch (25 cm)  It has 16 to 64 gigabytes (GB) of flash memory.  Two models have been launched:  Wi-Fi  Wi-Fi + 3G

History  Apple's development of a tablet computer began with the Newton Message Pad 100.  Apple also developed a prototype PowerBook Duo- based tablet computer, the Penlight.  The iPad was announced on January 27, 2010, at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Availability The iPad came to market in the march 2010 (Wi-Fi version) and in April 2010 (Wi-Fi + 3G version).
