6/21/2016Free template from 2 What is S.W.A.E.? Shop With An Eagle Etowah’s opportunity to serve our community by taking underprivileged children in our school zone shopping for Christmas presents.

Shop With An Eagle: Etowah students and faculty will hold several fundraising activities during the month of November Underprivileged children in the Etowah Innovation Zone will be invited to a breakfast/celebration with student mentors, who will then take them shopping For this program to be successful, we need EVERYONE’S help! 6/21/2016Free template from 3

How much money???? Our goal is to have approximately $ per child The more money we raise, the more children we can help 6/21/2016Free template from 4

What memories do you have of Christmas when you were little? What if you didn’t have any presents under the tree? What if all you wanted for Christmas was a warm coat or a blanket for your bed? 6/21/2016Free template from 5

HOW CAN YOU HELP? ONE WAY: If every Etowah student gave up one snack or drink from the vending machines today, our school would raise $ , allowing us to help 22 children in need this Christmas!!!! 6/21/2016Free template from 6

Just think if we all did this one time a week! That’s all you have to do to make a difference a child’s life! 6/21/2016Free template from 7

What are you willing to give up so a child can have a wonderful holiday? A coke? A package of M&Ms? A bag of chips? 6/21/2016Free template from 8

Before you put that dollar into the vending machine, please consider how that one dollar could help a child less fortunate than you this winter. 6/21/2016Free template from 9

The TAA Homeroom with the largest contribution will have a surprise waiting for them next week!!! 6/21/2016Free template from 10

WHAT IS ANOTHER WAY TO HELP? Become a Shop With An Eagle MENTOR 6/21/2016Free template from 11

WHAT IS A MENTOR? A supporter Someone with an active role in your life A cheerleader A positive influence 6/21/2016Free template from 12

So, do YOU have what it takes to be a Shop With An Eagle Mentor? 6/21/2016Free template from 13

What is the time commitment for Mentors? Active involvement in fundraising activities throughout the month of November Tuesday, 11/29: mentor meeting 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm Friday, 12/2: SWAE set-up and decoration (2:45 pm to 5:00 pm) Saturday, 12/3: SWAE event and clean-up (10:00 am to 4:00 pm) 6/21/2016Free template from 14

HOW TO APPLY: 1)Pick up an application from your advisor OR the front office OR counseling office 2)Complete the application 3)Have teachers complete and turn in your recommendations – one for each of your classes 4)Turn in your shirt size AND $15.00 for your t-shirt 5) Turn in your completed application by October 28. 6/21/2016Free template from 16

Completed applications should be turned into: Mrs. Jacobs - room 4104 or Mrs. Szpindor – room 7206 or Mrs. Shell – room /21/2016Free template from 17

ONE MORE WAY TO HELP: Support or help organize a fundraiser 6/21/2016Free template from 18

EHS clubs and organizations will be having fundraisers between now and the S.W.A.E. date (December 3) Some ideas: chili cook-off student-teacher volleyball game lunchtime collections t-shirt sales jeans day for faculty 6/21/2016Free template from 19

We need EVERYONE to get involved in Shop With An Eagle What are some ideas you have for fundraising? Brainstorm ideas and turn them into your TAA adviser Get your club or organization to sponsor one of these ideas 6/21/2016Free template from 20

How to get involved: Get your club or organization to hold a fundraiser for S.W.A.E. in November Complete a mentor application Support the fundraisers that will be going on at Etowah The more money we raise, the more children we can include!
