WHAT IS PAIN MITIGATION? The practice of pain reduction through use of pain killers (analgesics, NSAIDS, local anesthetics) Usually administered through subcutaneous (under skin), IV (directly into bloodstream) or oral injection.

CODE OF PRACTICE: January 1 st, 2016: Pain control used: Dehorning Castration in bulls over 9 months of age January 1 st, 2018: Pain control used: Castration in bulls over 6 months of age.
