Basic Facts First degree in the university directly after high school Duration: Certificate Programs- 1 month to 1 year Technical Diplomas- ½ year to 1 ½ years Associates degree- 2-3 years Bachelors degree- 4-5 years *Medical school and Law school are Professional programs and you need a bachelors degree before you go into Medical or Law School.
