BRS Competition Purse System Introduction Members have been using the BRS online booking system for many years and it has proved to be very successful. BRS have added a new feature to their system, called the ‘Competition Purse’ This new feature is an online facility that allows a member to put credit on their Competition Purse Account for later use when booking tee times. Many other Clubs are already using this new facility and the feedback is very positive. We will make it available to members from 30 May 2015

BRS Competition Purse System How the system works The Competition Purse Each member will have a Competition Purse account Competition Purse accounts will be available through the online booking system to all members from May 30 th. Top up using debit/credit card or with cash via the Office The minimum amount a Member can top up their account with is €30 Top up amounts - €30 - €50 - €80

BRS Competition Purse System Booking a Tee Time Member logs into BRS as normal and books a tee-time The On Line Booking System checks that the member is in credit in their Competition Purse before a booking can be made When a player is booking a line for themselves and on behalf of their playing partners each player must be in credit If a player does not have sufficient funds in their Purse, his/her booking will be rejected. The rest of the booking will be accepted How the system works

BRS Competition Purse System No money is deducted from the member’s Purse until the competition is closed If a member removes their name from the timesheet before the cut off time (6pm on evening before competition starts) they will not be charged A member who makes a booking and cancels after the cut off time, will have their competition fee deducted from their Purse The entry fee, and the cut-off time will be displayed on the timesheet for each competition Booking a tee time....cont’d

BRS Competition Purse System In exceptional circumstances where a member is prevented from playing on the day, a competition fee may be refunded on application by to the Men's or Ladies Hon. Sec. (as appropriate) Where a member wishes to book in a Club Invitation that includes guests, the member’s Purse must have sufficient credit to cover all guests in the booking Top-Up facility is available online at the time of booking How it works
