Idiom and Phrases

1. soak sth in sth to make something completely wet if you soak something, or if you let it soak, you keep it covered with a liquid for a period of time, especially in order to make it softer or easier to clean

Example A: How do I clean my pants. They’re so dirty. B: Soak your pants in cold water and wash them later.

1. sb’s fingers soaking in stuff Manicure: a treatment for the hands that includes cutting and polishing the nails [ ↪ pedicure]

Remember this? 1. A paragraph is a group of sentences which develop one central idea.

2. The central idea is usually stated in a topic sentence.

3. Every sentence in the paragraph must help the development of the topic sentence.
