Students will write to interpret chapter 8 concepts using sentence stems to complete a 15 minute research paper. If both the truck and the car are driving at the same speed, which one do you think will come to a complete stop first? Explain your reasoning. What 2 factors affect an object’s momentum? Finish Unit 4 mini-vocabulary tree maps.

2 15 MINUTE RESEARCH PAPER 1.2 minutes: Look through … Bookmark interesting pages. 2.1 minute: Go back through the pages and choose one interesting page. 3.3 minutes: Read that one page and take notes on a circle map. Close book. 4.3 minutes: Pair-share with your elbow partner and write down 1 thing you learned from your elbow partner.
