November 2014 Faculty Senate approves adoption of LEAP outcomes July 2015 Faculty Senate approves formation of the General Education committee Charge: Review and define Gen Ed requirements; : Identify of General Education Learning Outcomes (GELOs) September 2015 Provost forms the Assessment Facilitation Steering Committee Charge: Recommend policies, practices and procedures for assessment; Facilitate collection and dissemination of assessment data to Faculty Senate Committees and other groups March 2016 WOU Self-Study affirms importance of assessment How did we get here?
