ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code DESIGN WHOSE IMPLICATIONS EXTEND BEYOND JUST THE PHYSICAL ©Morphogenesis The following 10 slides are a guideline to helping you articulate your solution crisply and clearly. The major aspects to be considered have been incorporated, to allow the jury to get a comprehensive, all-rounded view of your entry. Your entry needs to have a Maximum of 10 slides and be able to convey your idea strongly through visuals and as little text as is possible.

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Slide 1 STATEMENT OF PROBLEM/PURPOSE Articulate in 3-4 lines what exactly the problem or what incited you/your team’s interest in this specific issue Give a brief background. Are similar attempts already being made by others to address the issue?

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Slide 2 Articulate in 2-3 lines what exactly your Idea is. Be as clear and specific as you can be. Example “Our team purposes to create a ____that will allow people to ___ using___as the main tool of ______.” Additionally, it would help to give a sense of how you arrived at the idea. In other words, describe your journey to the Idea. IDEA - OVERVIEW

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Slide 3 What is innovative about the idea and how: Is it a brand new idea (never done and executed before)? A pre-existing idea with a brand new twist that you have thought will make it significantly better. An idea that has been executed elsewhere but can adapt to the realities of India and beyond. An idea that was never able to materialize and remained abstract. IDEA - INNOVATION

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Slide 4 How does your idea address one or more of the following aspects which are crucial in the context of Indian Design today- Sustainability | Affordability | Identity | Livability IDEA – ADDRESSING THE BRIEF

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Slide 5 Who is your idea benefitting? A group of people in the same city, multiple cities in a nation, or nations across the globe? If it’s benefitting more than a single individual and one location, it’s scalable. IDEA - SCALABILITY

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Slide 6 Can you see it happening? If so, give us illustrations, or examples that can help validate the claim of feasibility Think about the cost-benefit Do you need external intervention like sponsorships or government enforcement? If yes, please list all the stakeholders involved in making this a success and how do you hope to allure them into contributing? List potential failures that might prevent this idea from materializing and risk mitigation strategies that you will deploy IDEA - FEASIBILITY

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Slide 7 Give us a sense of the context of the idea- Are there certain features about that specific context that makes it a success? Context does not always mean physical context- it can mean socio, economic, political, artistic context. IDEA - CONTEXT

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Is your idea replicable or a one time solution? Slide 8 IDEA – REPLICABLE?

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code Slide 9 Have you attempted to test your concept or product through a model? If yes, show it in the most effective way possible (video/photographs/etc) PROTOTYPE/SAMPLE INTERFACE

ADAPT. Morphogenesis 2016 Entry Code What’s next for your idea? Slide 10 FUTURE
