What processes drive the rock cycle? Where do each of the different rock types form?

 Clastic  fragments of other rocks and minerals.  The size and shape of the rock fragments helps determine their names  Conglomerate, sandstone and shale

 Organic  Forms from organic shells or skeletal remains that cement into rock. fossiliferous limestone

 Chemical  Forms from chemicals dissolved in water  Limestone

 Foliated-  Metamorphic rocks that have ribbon- like layers in their textures.  Gneiss (nice)  Common in NJ
