Activity 7.3: Copyright Reflection Megan Kolotyluk EDIT 202

Copyright protects the person(s) who wrote the paper, created the song, etc. so no one else can take credit for it.

A person or company paying another for continued use of their product or creation.

A logo or word(s) purchased by a person or company so it can no longer be used by someone else. (Examples. Pepsi, Apple, Lego, etc.)

The Copyright has expired on a certain product, work, etc.

It is essentially cheating. Using someone else's work as your own without properly citing the work. (Example. Turning in someone else's essay or story as your own, or a piece of it)
