Time management

Time Management. the ability to use one's time effectively or productively, especially at work. This ability mostly becomes after learning trips either by from live experience or self training. You can became easily good time manager if you have self confidence and commitment.

What are the time routine projects?

Management Doing by each and every management event you have to know about the functions of management activity. To allocate you time resource by effectively, management skills is a complementary tool

What are the function of management ?

The four factions of general management 1. Planning is looking ahead. drawing up a good plan of action is the hardest of the five functions of management 2. Organizing An organization can only function well if it is well-organized. 3. Coordinating Coordination therefore aims at stimulating motivation and discipline within the group dynamics. Positive influencing of employees behavior is important in this.

Conti……. 4. Controlling By verifying whether everything is going according to plan, Control takes place in a four-step process: Establish performance standards based on organizational objectives Measure and report on actual performance Compare results with performance and standards Take corrective or preventive measures as needed

What are the ten Strategies For Better Time Management?

1. Know How You Spend Your Time: where most of your time is devoted job, family, personal, sport, etc. Identifying your most time-consuming tasks and determining whether you are investing your time in the most important activities can help you to determine a course of action. for routine tasks can help you be more realistic in planning and estimating how much time is available for other activities.

Conti….. 2. Set Priorities: Experts agree that the most important tasks usually aren’t the most urgent tasks. categorize our activities into four quadrants in their Time Management Matrix: urgent, not urgent, Important & not important.

3. Use a Planning Tool

4. Get Organized: Good organizer marches the rights things to the complementary other right things.

5. Schedule Your Time Appropriately Scheduling is not just recording what you have to do (e.g., meetings and appointments), it is also making a time commitment to the things you want to do. Good scheduling requires that you know yourself. NB: Block out time for your high priority activities first and protect that time from interruptions

6. Delegate: Get Help from Others

Delegation means assigning responsibility for a task to someone else. Delegation begins by identifying tasks that others can do and then selecting the appropriate person(s) to do them. You need to select someone with the appropriate skills, experience, interest, and authority needed to accomplish the task.

7. Stop Procrastinating You may be putting off tasks for a variety of reasons. Perhaps the task seems overwhelming or unpleasant. Try breaking down the task into smaller segments that require less time commitment and result in specific, realistic deadlines.

8. Manage External Time Wasters You can decrease or eliminate time spent in these activities by implementing some simple tips listed below. Use voice mail and set aside time to return calls. Set a mutually agreeable time limit for the visit. Stand up while you talk on the phone. Use voice mail and set aside time to return calls. Learn how to say “NO”

9. Avoid Multi-tasking Recent psychological studies have shown that multi-tasking does no actually save time. Avoid Multi-tasking in fact, the opposite is often true. You lose time when switching from one task to another, resulting in a loss of productivity(Rubinsteim, Meyer, and Evans, 2001).

10. Stay Healthy

The care and attention you give yourself is an important investment of time. Scheduling time to relax, or do nothing, can help you rejuvenate both physically and mentally, enabling you to accomplish tasks more quickly and easily.

What are the benefits of time management ?
