There are many different beliefs about the origin of the Lantern Festival, however, it is likely to have had something to do with celebrating and cultivating positive relationships between people, families, nature and the higher beings that were believed to be responsible for bringing or returning the light each year.

Legends of The Lantern Festival There are many says for The Lantern Festival, so we pick some of these to share. One is that The Lantern Festival is the first full- moon night, and it also symbols the day of the Spring returning. So people celebrate this day and hope to continue the good lucks from The Chinese New Year. Another says is that long times ago, people killed the messenger of God --a bird-- in careless.
