Glow on Your Big Day

The glow that you see on each bride’s face is because of all the happiness. Brides just glow. However, if you want your skin to glow, look fresh and clean on your wedding day, then you’ve got to take some measures. And I mean serious urgent measures. Let the wedding planner take care of all the wedding planning stress, while you focus on yourself and begin the pre-wedding care regime

The few weeks before the wedding can be quite strenuous for the couple, especially the bride. Stress takes up your energy, makes you feel fatigued and drained. Here are a few things to eat/do to feel good, bid farewell to stress and have a glowing skin on your big day.

Eat Clean No bride wants to have a bloated tummy, skin breakouts, pimples, acne or anything that makes her look drained, exhausted or stressed. Eating raw veggies, clear soups, grilled food, and basically a high protein and low carb diet can get you glowing on the wedding day. With only a week of clean eating, you will notice a visible difference in yourself; you’ll feel fresh, healthy and lighter.

Work out This goes without saying, work out should be part of your lifestyle because of its massive health benefits. However, if you haven’t been working out regularly, it’s time you start moving and hit the gym or the walking track. Working out clears toxins from your body, improves cardiovascular health, relieves stress and improves the overall system. Most of all, it makes your skin glow. So get up, put on your favorite tracks and get going! The efforts you make today will save you from regrets later!

Keep Hydrated Drink water. Lots of water. This odorless, colorless, tasteless liquid is one of the best things to clear acne, pimples, spots, and make your skin glow. So if you’re the bride to be, make sure you drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water every day. Increased water intake works as a detox. It hydrates and energizes you. It also relieves stress and boosts immune system. And guess what? 2 to 3 liters of water intake daily takes off years of your face, you look younger, healthier and beautiful.

Spa Treatment The wedding season brings with it both fun and anxiety. The preps can stress you out and a bit too much of it is likely to turn you into a bridezilla. While the wedding preps are in full swing, take out some time for yourself and treat yourself to a luxurious spa treatment. A day at the spa alone or even better with a friend can work as a complete destresser. Pamper yourself at the spa with a relaxing body massage; shun the stress knots and get ready for all the happenings of the weddings.
