The Great Pyramids and Giza is a burial for the Pharaoh Khufu. In B.C. in the old and middle periods when the pyramid was a standard burial for the Pharaohs. Ancient Egypt is where the Great Pyramids at Giza are in northern Egypt but lower Nile. Ancient Egyptians lived in Egypt and the peasants helped build the Pyramids when they were not working in the fields. The first reason is the tools that the Ancient Egyptians used. They had hammers, copper drills, pickaxes, chisels, and saws and the hardest metal they had is copper. The second reason is how the cutted the stone. They cut the stone using wet sand to cut the stone while the blade of the saw applied the pressure. The last reason is how the Ancient Egyptians move the stones on land. They used water and mud to make the bottom of the sledge wet so that the sledge could slide along the rollers with the heavy rock on its back.
