Daily Journal #7 In your own words, explain why you believe people are eager to understand the origin of their world. Give at least 2 reasons and provide support, explaining why you think this. List some ways in which people have tried to explain the world’s origin. (Ex. Biblical narratives) Give at least 2 examples.

Notes: Creation Myths Myth: traditional story, usually involving supernatural beings or events, that explains how some aspect of human nature or the natural world came to be. Creation Myths: specific kind of myth that typically Describes how the universe, the earth, and life began. Explains the workings of the natural world.
