Preparation for Socratic Seminar Answer the following questions on your own paper. Use your handout to guide you. Remember, you will be discussion. Be sure to answer thoroughly. 1.CLAIM - What do you think? 2.REASONS - Why do you think that? 3.EVIDENCE - How do you know (your reasons are true)? 4.WARRANT - Why do you think your Reasons support your Claim? 5.COUNTERCLAIM and REBUTTAL - What about alternative views or contrary evidence? 25 points for prep paper; 25 points for discussion participation
