Graduation Information 2014 On Our Way
Grad Mass - Thursday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Albert Parish All Grade 12 students and their families (Catholic and non-Catholic) are invited to attend the Grad Mass. Suitable church attire is expected and ladies are reminded that their shoulders should be covered at church.
Grad Mass - Thursday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Albert Parish St. Albert Parish has asked us to remind our families that gum and cell phones are not allowed and that quiet is requested once you enter the sanctity of the church itself. Graduates will be entering the church in the procession but will be asked to sit with their families for the Mass itself.
Grad Ceremonies - Friday, May 16 at 1:00 p.m. sharp at the Jubilee Auditorium. Ceremonies will end at approximately 2:45 p.m. The cost to park will be about $6.00 per vehicle.
All graduates must be on the second floor balcony of the Auditorium 45 min. before the exercises begin. (NO LATER than 12:15 p.m.) If you wish to take pictures in your gown, take them before assembling on the balcony for the grad procession. Parents will be given an opportunity to continue to purchase tickets to the ceremonies until they begin. Additional tickets cost $3.00 per person. Please remember to bring your tickets. There will be a booth for lost or forgotten tickets open at 11:30 AM. The Parents and family members are to be seated in the Auditorium by 12:50, as the Grad procession will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.

There will be a professional photographer taking pictures of each of the graduates after they receive their scrolls. These pictures will be available at no charge to each graduate.

Proceed into the lobby area and mingle quietly until you are given instructions to find your designated seat.

Procession Once seated out on the second balcony, you MUST REMAIN COMPLETELY SILENT until your group leaders signal you to proceed section by section, row by row, single file out the second balcony doors down the stairs to the main floor seating doors.

Grads in the RIGHT group will walk down the RIGHT aisle and grads in the CENTER and LEFT group will walk down the LEFT aisle.

Behavior Any students under the influence of alcohol or drugs or students who are unable to participate in the Commencement Exercises in a dignified manner will be excluded from the Procession and the Presentation of the scrolls.

Receiving of Scrolls Upon receiving your scroll, walk along the blue mat to Mrs. Rasmussen and Mr. Doll for a handshake and then continue walking along the mat to the spot marked with an X, where the photographer will take your picture.

Recession Immediately after the MC says “Parents and Guests please remain seated while the graduands exit” and the theme song begins to play, your group leader will signal for you to walk row by row up the aisle (starting from the back) and out the doors.

Grad Dinner and Dance - Friday, May 16 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre (Agricom) Hall E Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. Dance to follow. All grads will be called to the back of the hall, after dinner and the Grad Video, to meet with Mrs. Rasmussen to line up for the Grand March.
Grad Dinner and Dance - Friday, May 16 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre (Agricom) Hall E The banquet is a formal event. Anyone not in formal attire will not be permitted by security to enter this event. This means once you decide to change into your “After Grad” clothes you cannot return to the banquet.
