The Day of My Birth Throughout the Ages Bethany Heaton

Throughout the years, on March 15, the following events happened.

In 1989 the Rolling Stones signed a 70 million dollar contract to play 50 North American dates. It was the largest contract in rock history.

In 44 BC Roman Emperor Julius Caesar was assassinated by high ranking Roman Senators. The day is known as the "Ides of March." Caesar was stabbed in the back by his friend Marcus Brutus. Caesar falls and utters his famous last words, "Et tu, Brute?" (And you, Brutus?)

In 1938 oil was discovered in Saudi Arabia. Oil reserves in Saudi Arabia are the second largest claimed in the world, estimated to be 267 billion barrels. Oil is a vital source of energy for the world and will likely remain so for many decades to come. es_distribution

On this day in 1985 Kellan Lutz was born. He is an actor in the popular movie Twilight. Upon high school graduation, Lutz relocated to California to attend Chapman University and study Chemical Engineering, but left in order to pursue a career in acting.
